Picnic concert: Juno Lee x Levin König
Open air concert with headphones
In front of the old building of silent green, a huge lawn offers the perfect setting for a nice little picnic and a stage for some great musicians. We will provide you with high-quality headphones, MARS I Café & Bar prepares your picnic package and some drinks, you bring your cushions and blankets and together we will enjoy an open-air concert in the summer evening atmosphere.
Juno Lee
Panic attacks at the laundromat, a receptionist's fake smile, queer dating. Juno Lee draws most of the inspiration for her lyrics from everyday observations and experiences. Packed into guitar-heavy indie pop earworms, the 22-year-old invites us into her emotional world. Juno Lee is a native of Berlin. Since 2019 she has been playing on the streets, in parks and underground stations between pigeon shit and grumbling security staff. This year she is playing at c/o Pop and Sziget Festival, among others. At the clearing where Riot Grrrls and Barbies exchange a handshake, Juno Lee booms out of the sound system.
Levin König
want to turn parking meters into flower meadows and love in peace. To do this, the songwriting duo from Berlin repeatedly plunge into the depths of their images and experiences, getting lost and usually finding themselves in a new song. Folkloristic melodies and intimate word landscapes combine with their indie pop to krautrock influences to create their own sound. Levin (they/them) and Dominik (he/him) play live with bass and clarinet in a quartet.
