Pianist Joep Beving and Cellist Maarten Vos have announced their first collaborative album Vision of Contentment, which will be released on July 19, 2024, under Nils Frahm's LEITER label. This album follows their collaboration on Henosis from 2019.

The recordings took place in July 2023 in a forest near Bilthoven, Netherlands, as well as in Beving's and Vos' studios in Amsterdam and Berlin. The album is a tribute to their friend and manager Mark Brounen, who passed away from cancer during the production. Vision of Contentment addresses themes such as acceptance of the inevitable and spiritual growth.

The music of the album is inspired by artists like Morten Feldman, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Alva Noto, aiming to promote harmony and understanding.
