5 Years Unguarded

Unguarded is a record & art label from Berlin. Founded in 2020, the label seeks to foster forward thinking artists with a focus on exploring cross-disciplinary collaboration and embarking on sonic adventures. Gathering a collection of genre-defying works by longtime collaborators as well as artists bonded with in recent years, Unguarded's releases constantly escape definition, compelling and absorbing throughout their sprawling sonic miasmas. 

Existing in a time of turmoil and consequent uncertainty for music and artisthood, the label's goal is to keep personal and musical connections alive through shared personal and collective experiences, between hope, doom and music. On January 16, 2026 they will start the new year with their five year anniversary that will be celebrated with and by longterm collaborators and friends. 

With a release spectrum from earth-shattering club cuts, infernal sonic experiments to celestial folk, Unguarded contributes to and connects the experimental music scene in and outside of Berlin, inviting the curious to a deep, tense but rewarding experience.
