hackedepicciotto – Sonic Morgue

hackedepicciotto spent the last 14 years as nomads traveling the world, looking for a new home. Now, thanks to a miraculous coincidence and a generous patron, they have settled down in the outskirts of Berlin. “ It was an unexpected ending of our journey, but a beautiful new phase for our creativity”. Their new album Lichtung deals with their new home which is also their old hometown. “ 

We traveled a full circle basically ending up where we started but the change within ourselves is huge and we see Berlin with completely different eyes.” Sonically the typical hackedepicciotto drone is still there but has been enriched with electronic sounds, more harmony singing and piano melodies. As the author of most of their lyrics, Danielle decided: “As we are back in Germany I thought it is time to also ackowledge this language within our work more and so most of the lyrics are in German this time around.” 

The show will be accompanied on this tour with Danielle new live visuals. They will also be playing some of their other songs in English.
