LudoWic

With Nunc Stans, out September 10, 2026, LudoWic opens a new chapter shaped by four months of near-total isolation and an ongoing reflection on time, memory and impermanence.

The album was written surrounded by aging synthesizers, tape machines, gong speakers and the rare Trautonium — instruments and machines that each carry their own history and physical presence. Throughout the process, Matheus became increasingly drawn to the idea of moments that seem to briefly exist outside of linear time. Not necessarily grand moments, but often quiet and easily overlooked ones.

That same sense of presence continues into the live performance.

At the center of the stage stands a dense landscape of analog instruments, cables, resonating speakers and machines through which every sound is created and manipulated in real time. Rather than disappearing behind screens or pre-programmed structures, the performance keeps the process visible — allowing the audience to experience not only the music itself, but also the physical gestures, imperfections and interactions that shape it in the moment.
