MetropolCon 2026

As a blend of festival and conference, MetropolCon features talks, workshops, panels, discussion rounds, live performances, audio drama, informal table talks, games, and much more. Its focus is on speculative fiction – science fiction, fantasy, and horror – across literature, multimedia, gaming, science, as well as art and music.

MetropolCon will take place from July 2 to 5, 2026. During this period, it will be held as Eurocon, welcoming creatives, researchers, and fans from all over Europe and beyond.  

Guests of Honor at MetropolCon include science fiction writers Aiki Mira (Germany) and Becky Chambers (USA), as well as the Croatian comic artist duo Stjepan and Linda Šejić.
