Zebra Poetry Film Festival 2026

Again this year, the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival — also organized by the Haus für Poesie — further expands the transdisciplinary presentation of poetry. The most striking, distinctive, and intense short films are often based on poems: films of a unique genre in which the boundary between film and poetry is transcended, works of image, word, and sound.

In addition to an International Competition presented in two blocks over two days, Haus für Poesie showcases films in three further programs focusing on the themes of myth, grief, and connection.
