Corvo Records pres. Alessandra Eramo + Matto Zoppi + Zeynep Ayşe Hatipoğlu

silent green & Corvo Records presents

A concert event at the intersection of voice, electronics, and sonic performance, where sound and listening unfold as a poetic and physical experience. The programme features three solo performances by Alessandra Eramo, Matto Zoppi, and Zeynep Ayşe Hatipoğlu, each exploring distinct artistic approaches to sound poetry, electroacoustic music and improvisation, moving between genres and traditions. Curated by Corvo Records.

Founded in Berlin in 2010 by Wendelin Büchler, Corvo Records publishes vinyl, art books, and cassettes, showcasing drawings, sound art and contemporary music.

Alessandra Eramo – voice, electronics
In her solo for voice and electronics Alessandra Eramo creates a collage of hypnotic soundscapes and voices, pushing beyond sound into deeper layers of poetic expression. She explores trance-like states in singing by the use of extended vocal techniques, non-verbal vocalising, crude noise, melodies, distortion, and unknown languages, interweaving a dynamic use of tapes. In reference to sound poetry, the performance aims to generate an immersive acoustic experience, like a spiritual exercise shared with the listeners.

Eramo is a sound artist and vocalist whose work spans performance, installation, sound poetry, video and drawing, exploring the latent acoustic territories of the voice and noise as a socio-political matter. She develops multimedia art projects and live performances that address questions of the body, memory, migration and ecology, often incorporating participatory actions, field recordings and site-specific modes.

Matto Zoppi – voice, electronics
Utilising microphones and stands as extensions of the body, Matto Zoppi gives birth to a haunted performance that reconfigures movement and sound as products of action and constraint. In this work, the space of action becomes the central field of investigation. Stands, cables, and microphones are not neutral tools but poetic devices: instruments of power and imposition, yet also structures of support and transmission. They function simultaneously as mechanisms of control and as resonant counterparts to the body, enabling it to inhabit and reshape the listening space as a relational territory.

Zoppi is a sound artist and performer whose work merges sound, poetry, and extended voice techniques to evoke grotesque and liminal narrative tensions. He explores narration as a tool for interpreting and reframing reality, often incorporating elements of theater and radio art to investigate the space between listening, sound, speech, and transformation. Zoppi is one of the founders of the multimedia poetry collective Fumofonico.

Zeynep Ayşe Hatipoğlu – cello, voice, electronics
Zeynep Ayşe Hatipoğlu performs solo with cello, voice and electronics, moving between electroacoustic and fixed-media compositions and interpretations of Turkish Makam songs.

Zeynep Ayşe Hatipoğlu is a cellist, composer, improviser whose work moves fluidly between genres and explores ways of creating beyond fixed stylistic categories. Born and raised in Istanbul, her musical language grew from an early engagement with European classical music and Turkish makam traditions, expanding into free improvisation, contemporary, experimental and electroacoustic music.

Alongside composition and performance, her prolific work includes sound installations, site-specific projects, collaborative ensembles and socially engaged artistic workshops.
