Soil – City – Solidarity: Getting Granular

Reading

Join us for the second session of the Getting Granular reading group on soil politics and poetics. In this session we explore cultivating the commons as spaces for everyone through an open reading focusing on anti-colonial and anti-racist approaches to environmental politics in the Anthropocene. This session is conceived jointly by Soil - City - Solidarity, an urban permaculture course, and SAVVY Contemporary and will be held at Prinzessinnengärten. The readings for this session are excerpts from Francoise Vergès’ Racial Capitalocene and Marisol de la Cadena’s Uncommoning Nature as well as an open letter by the grassroots collective The Wretched of the Earth.
