Performance: THE SECOND COPY: I LIKE THIS TITLE

The Second Copy: I Like this Title reflects her own working process. It deals with the concept of different disciplines, the codes of stage space and public perception on different levels. How can an action be repeated without really copying it? Adaptation, paraphrasing, reconstruction lend legitimacy to the act of copying according to the principle of cause and effect. Youness Atbane's artistic practice focuses on contemporary dance and visual arts and opens his research on the possible connection between these practices. Together with Omar Sabrou, he founded the first digital group in Morocco, the Pixylone collective, and has exhibited in Madrid, Rome and at the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris.

9 pm
Concert: ARCHEOPHONY
A turntable solo by Raed Yassin

The record player solo Archeophony by Lebanese musician Raed Yassin consists of live mixes of rare recordings of ethnic music from the Middle East, North and West Africa, South and Southeast Asia, sampled alongside drum machines, synthesizers and electronics. The work functions both as an archaeological sound document and as a new experimental conductor of music history.
