An Evening with the Songs of Nick Drake

concert

Only a few solo artists of the 20th century are still so admired and celebrated by critics and music fans as the singer-songwriter legend Nick Drake. His albums Five Leaves Left (1969), Bryter Layter (1979) and Pink Moon (1972), which sold only moderately during his lifetime, inspire and touch people from all over the world today - 45 years after the far too early death of the artist on 25 November 1974 - and are regarded as some of the most important musical works of all time. The unique guitar playing and the soft voice of the introverted genius give the listener a fascinating impression of his world, of which he has not revealed much else.

Through his music, Nick Drake's art lives on. And on this special evening he will be honoured with interpretations by CATT, Craig Saunders (Mighty Oaks), David Lemaitre and Tim Neuhaus.
