Rhythm-driven and critically acclaimed: Los Bitchos are a cumbia-inspired psychedelic rock band. The multinational all-female quartet is most likely THE new favourite party band. Their instrumentals evoke scenes of strutting into a desert saloon and lighting a row of flaming sambucas, riding in the passenger seat with a Tarantino heroine, or celebrating the fiesta of a lifetime with all your friends under a giant piñata. The keytarist's grandpa is a Uruguayan cowboy, so what can you wonder.

During the lockdown, the four band members were busy recording their debut album Let The Festivities Begin! produced by Franz Ferdinand frontman Alex Kapranos. Let The Festivities Begin! is an album full of hallucinatory surf exoticism, with a celebratory title. Something you might say as you toast the end of the Pandemic Era with your shot glass and usher in a new era of wild abandon.
