wir hoffen, ihr seid gut angekommen im neuen Jahr und wünschen euch und uns allen von ganzem Herzen ein kraftvolles und kulturell reichhaltiges 2022!
Zwar startet das Jahr für uns alle erst einmal etwas holprig, geprägt von Absagen, Unsicherheiten und einer kulturellen Flaute, doch Anlass zur Freude gibt es allemal: Nach der digitalen Version des letzten Jahres ist das diesmal hybrid stattfindende CTM-Festival mit einigen tollen Veranstaltungen live vor Ort im silent green zu Gast. Neben der Eröffnungsveranstaltung der beiden Festivals transmediale und CTM, dem Vorspiel 2022 (21.1.), präsentieren die beiden Musiker und Komponisten Phillip Sollmann und Konrad Sprenger ihre Klanginstallation Modular Organ System als Ausstellung mit täglichen live Interventionen verschiedener Gast-Künstler*innen in unserer Betonhalle (19.–30.1.). Der Klangkünstler Andrius Arutiunian wird sein neues Werk »Incantations« als Sound-Installation in unserer Kuppelhalle vorstellen (28.–30.1.) und der Konzertabend 40 Years of Touch feiert das vierzigjährige Bestehen des gleichnamigen britischen Labels für experimentelle elektronische Musik (31.1.).
Für den Besuch aller Veranstaltungen gelten die Hygieneregelungen des CTM-Festivals, die ihr hier einsehen könnt. Wir danken euch für eure Rücksichtnahme.
Im Februar erwartet uns dann ein Monat ganz im Zeichen der Berlinale. Am 9.2. eröffnet die diesjährige Gruppenausstellung des 17. Forum Expanded: Closer to the ground in unserer Betonhalle, die bis zum 13.3. zu sehen sein wird. Vom 10.–20.2. finden zudem täglich Screenings des Berlinale Forum und Forum Expanded in unserer Kuppelhalle statt.

Ausstellung mit performativen Interventionen
In Kooperation mit dem CTM-Festival 2022 präsentieren die Musiker und Komponisten Phillip Sollmann und Konrad Sprenger eine modulare, raumgreifende, auf Orgelpfeifen basierende Klanginstallation, die über Jahrhunderte gewachsene Kenntnisse des Orgelbaus mit zeitgenössischen Konzepten, Technologien und Materialien in Beziehung setzt. We hope you've had a good start of the new year and wish you and all of us from the bottom of our hearts a powerful and culturally rich 2022!
Although the year is off to a slightly bumpy start for all of us, marked by cancellations, uncertainties and a cultural lull, there is always reason to rejoice: after last year's fully digital version, this year's hybrid CTM festival is coming to silent green with some great events live on site. In addition to the opening event of the two festivals transmediale and CTM, Vorspiel 2022 (21 Jan), the two musicians and composers Phillip Sollmann and Konrad Sprenger will present their sound installation Modular Organ System as an exhibition with daily live interventions by various guest artists in our Betonhalle (19–30 Jan). The sound artist Andrius Arutiunian will introduce his new work »Incantations« as a sound installation in our Kuppelhalle (28–30 Jan) and the concert evening 40 Years of Touch celebrates the fortieth anniversary of the UK-based imprint and publisher for experimental electronic music (31 Jan).

In February, we are already looking forward to a month of Berlinale. On 9 February, this year's group exhibition of the 17th Forum Expanded: Closer to the ground opens in our Betonhalle and will be on view until 13 March. From 10–20 February, there will also be daily screenings of Berlinale Forum and Forum Expanded in our Kuppelhalle.
