On Saturday, July 21st Odd Fantastic is bringing electronic music pioneer and neo-classical recording artist and composer Suzanne Ciani for a unique live performance to the intimate concert hall of Silent Green, a former crematorium located in west Berlin. Graduate of Wellesley College and holding a Masters in Music composition from the University of California at Berkeley over the course of her 30+ year career, she has released 15 solo albums, including “Seven Waves,” “The Velocity of Love,” and most recently, the live electronic album retrospective, "Buchla Concerts 1975". Well known as an early protege and long-time devotee of Don Buchla’s, and a friend of Bob Moog’s, her use of synthesizers created entirely new sounds that opened minds around the globe to electronic music as a valid form of expression. Today, Ciani continues to inspire generosity, curiosity, and experimentation for a resurgent, multi-generational community of synth-enthusiasts and electronic music fans, including us. 

For the opening of this night, de School resident Oceanic will be joining us from the Netherlands. He will dig deep into his record collection to set the perfect beginning of the night's musical journey.

Earlier that day we are live streaming on Amsterdam's Red Light Radio from the garden of Silent Green's cafe. The Mole, Lux, JM Moser and Alison Swing will be in charge of the music for the whole afternoon.The cafe will prepare a special barbecue for you between 15.00h and 19.00h.The attendance to the afternoon event is free of charge - families and puppies are more than welcome.
