Eileen Myles: Chelsea Girls

Eileen Myles [USA] is considered a »rock star of modern poetry« [Bust Magazine], a feminist icon, and pioneer of queer literature. Overflowing with prose, the non-fiction novel »Chelsea Girls« tells the story of Myles’ way out of Catholic Boston in the 1950s and 1960s to alcohol, drugs, and lesbian sex and to the vibrant New York poetry scene of the 1970s in the surroundings of Andy Warhol and Allen Ginsberg.
