" brings together the living and the dead, the future and the past. It is an invocation, a prayer. To the goddesses, the women who walked the path before me, the poets, the worshippers, the adored, the priests, the shamans, the maltreated, the insane, the seekers. But I also sing to the children of the future. For we are all the ancestors of the future."

The quote is talking about WHITE FIRE, the new project and album by Kenichi & The Sun, behind which the interdisciplinary and genre-spanning artist Katrin Hahner hides herself. Inspired by hip hop, rap, Alice Coltrane, ancient tragedy, the writer Anne Carson, the musical work at the theatre, collaborations with various performance artists, who have taken her throughout Europe to theatres, galleries and performance venues, something called Sci Fi Gospel has emerged. On the occasion of her release tour, she will play dazzling, avant-garde pieces from the new album in the Kuppelhalle.
