Ana Luísa Amaral & Ellen Hinsey: The World of Emily Dickinson

Lesung & Gespräch I internationales literaturfestival berlin

Emily Dickinson is one of the most influential American poets of the 19th century. Living in seclusion, she wrote almost 1,800 poems, of which only a select few were published in her lifetime. Her work is extremely bold and original in both style and content and continues to fascinate readers to this day. A tribute to Dickinson with her Portuguese translator, poet Ana Luísa Amaral [P, participates remotely], and author Ellen Hinsey [USA/ F].

The event will be held in English.
