Kamel Daoud: Le peintre dévorant la femme

Kamel Daoud, who was awarded the Prix Goncourt for best debut novel for »The Meursault Investigation«, follows a fictional Islamist character as he examines Picasso’s works in this literary essay. Reflecting on his own experiences and using the concept of nudity as a starting point, Daoud explores the Western understanding of art and self-identity. Kamel Daoud participates remotely.

The conversation will be held in French and will be interpreted consecutively.
