A girl enters the world of the famous puppet figures through a wooden door in the foyer of the Augsburg Puppenkiste Theater. In addition to Princess Li Si and Lukas, the locomotive driver, she also meets the daughter of the founder, Walter Oehmichen, and learns about the history of the theater, which was created during World War II, destroyed by air raids and became known nationwide in the 1950s thanks to television.
