Alexis Ffrench

With his new album Truth, released in May 2022, Alexis Ffrench is coming to Germany for two concerts this October as part of his The Truth Tour. With Truth, the classic soul artist has recorded his most powerful, political and optimistic record to date: Inspired by the marches for social justice around the world following the fateful events of May 2020, the captivating and thought-provoking recordings form a stirring listening experience born out of feelings of grief, despair, anger and injustice, and underpinned by an unwavering positive vision of an inclusive society of equality, diversity and mutual respect. At his concerts, fans of modern classical music can look forward to rousing, transgressive soundscapes.

His compositions develop along catchy melodies and motifs arranged with orchestral and synthesiser sounds. They range from soundtracks for film and television to symphonic and chamber music works for the concert hall. He has also worked with Paloma Faith, Leona Lewis and major fashion brands such as Miyake and Hugo Boss. Also running through his career is his tireless social engagement for more diversity and equal opportunities. For example, he posts tutorials on YouTube and social media to help young musicians develop their skills. Last year, he also announced the launch of two annual scholarships to study at the world-leading Royal Academy of Music, supported by Sony Music's Social Justice Fund.
