The conference for filmmakers and script developers focusses on current issues in script development. The current challenges are leaving their mark and raising fundamental questions: What do we tell how do we tell it? Intense debates about cultural identity and social solidarity require innovative storytelling methods. Therefore, the conference program includes current productions, innovative dramaturgical trends, new approaches and techniques of storytelling in all areas of the media landscape, from feature films and documentaries in cinema, television and streaming productions to new media and formats such as podcasts. In addition to panel discussions, lectures, case studies and expert talks, the conference offers opportunities for dialogue and networking. VeDRA is expecting numerous experts, talents and players from production, screenwriting, script consultancy, directing, distribution, funding institutions, broadcasting and media policy at its “Tag der Dramaturgie”. FilmStoffEntwicklung is the industry get-together for all those in storytelling and story development who face the current challenges of the German media landscape.
