Discourse prorgramme Jazzwoche Berlin #6

In addition to the music, the special feature of Jazz Week Berlin #6 is the content-related discussion of current cultural-political topics and issues.

The discourse programme sichtbarkeiten_visibilities invites audiences, musicians, organizers and representatives from politics and administration to discuss how the scene can make its themes and concerns more visible, what spaces and concepts are needed for this and what visibility can actually mean.

In various discussion formats, topics such as the historical perspective of (in)visibility (with Dr. Harald Kisiedu, musicologist, author and musician, including Composing While Black ed. with George Lewis and Elias Stemeseder, musician), recognizing visibility and the current visibility of jazz and improvised music on the radio will be addressed.
