Jay-Jay Johanson is back with his unmistakable trip-hop sounds that hover between nostalgia and modernity. With jazzy rhythms, subtle electronic elements and acoustic details such as finger snapping and whistling, he creates a haunting, atmospheric soundscape. His gentle, melancholy voice is the centrepiece, which more than justifies the comparison with the legendary Chet Baker.
