Dokumentale is Berlin’s vibrant and fast-growing festival for non-fiction storytelling—spanning film, literature, podcasts, and immersive media. From 12 to 22 June 2025, the festival brings bold, moving, and diverse perspectives to life across the city. Whether on screen, on stage, or through interactive experiences, it’s all about stories that touch, challenge, and connect us.

On June 19th, Dokumentale will host its award ceremony at Silent Green, where outstanding documentaries, books, podcast projects, and VR experiences will be selected and honored. Furthermore the Dokumentale Closing Film Blaues Licht by Sophie Sonntag will be shown – A journey into the underground where reality, theater, and subculture blur.
