Berlin Tea Festival 2026: CLOSER TO TEA – Main Days
Two days of tea, teaware, craft and connection
On 7.+8. November 2026, the international tea world comes together again at silent green.
Under this year’s theme CLOSER TO TEA, around 70 carefully selected exhibitors will come together – about half of them joining Berlin Tea Festival (BTF) for the first time. Alongside specialist retailers and tea brands from Germany and across Europe, even more tea producers will travel directly from China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, India and Malawi.
With the official BTF Tasting Cup 2026, visitors can enjoy unlimited tea tastings, compare different styles and meet the people behind the tea. Around 55 programme sessions across the Kino and Ateliers complement the exhibition. Workshops, talks, tea ceremonies, tastings, seminars, participatory formats and film screenings invite visitors to listen, take part, go deeper and exchange ideas.
Ceramics, teaware and craft are once again an integral part of the festival, with new works, one-off pieces and small-batch series by returning and first-time ceramic artists.
For many, BTF has become an annual reunion of the tea community – and at the same time a place for new discoveries and personal encounters. And with the festival taking place in early November, it is also a great opportunity to find special Christmas gifts – from distinctive teas to handmade ceramics and teaware.
No prior knowledge needed. Curiosity is enough.
