Alt-rock royalty Deb Googe (My Bloody Valentine, Thurston Moore Group) and acclaimed pianist-composer Cara Tivey (Blur, Everything but the Girl) are bringing their collaborative project to the stage for an exclusive live performance. The concert celebrates their debut joint album, The Golden Thread, released via Tiny Global Productions.

Despite decades of stellar work – Deb with My Bloody Valentine, Primal Scream and Snowpony, Cara with Blur, Billy Bragg, Everything but the Girl, and Robert Lloyd – The Golden Thread marks the first time either artist has released a full-length album under their own names. Performed exclusively by the duo and recorded in Deb’s home studio, the album seamlessly blends seemingly contradictory sonic elements: thick-yet-minimal soundscapes, avant-garde bass, and delicate, genre-spanning piano. 

Audiences will experience this intricate, layered music live, alongside visuals from their compelling music videos.
