Attunement I

Concepción Huerta and hexorcismos inaugurate Sintonia’s new home in Wedding: the Kuppelhalle at silent green. Already established in the international experimental music scene, they will transform the space into an experience of attunement. 

Working with field recording, analogue synthesis, and tape machines, Concepción Huerta creates expanded layers of media arcehology where resonance is physical and political at once. 

Hexorcismos employs neural systems to metabolize sound, feeding ancestral and synthetic sources to one another. The results inhabit a third-space between a bodiless voice after the algorithm’s spectralities and a rhythmic corporeal experience that carries a memory of its own making.

Concepción Huerta is a Mexican sound artist, electroacoustic composer, and artistic researcher whose practice explores sound as a technology of inscription capable of recording, preserving, and transforming memory. Working across electroacoustic composition, analogue synthesis, magnetic tape, field recording, and installation, she investigates the relationships between vibration, materiality, geology, and listening. 

hexorcismos is a Tijuana-born, Berlin-based sound artist and technologist working critically with AI, media archeology & neural synthesis. Creator of SEMILLA.AI & MUTUALISMX; his work has been shown at Ars Electronica, NeurIPS, CTM, MUTEK, KTH. He is currently teaching at the Tangible Music Club in Linz, Austria.
