Sonic Matters VII – Independent Label Market

silent green presents

The Sonic Matters Independent Label Market brings together independent record labels, artists and music lovers at silent green. It celebrates the diversity and independence of independent music culture, beyond commercial structures and mainstream release channels.

From experimental and electronic music to ambient, jazz and contemporary composition, as well as pop, post-punk and many other forms of musical expression, the market provides a platform for labels with a wide range of artistic approaches and perspectives.

Visitors are invited to browse a diverse selection of vinyl records, cassettes and other formats, discover new music and talk directly with the people behind the releases. Alongside new releases and rare finds, visitors can explore special editions and a selection of distinctive releases.

Above all, the market is a space for connection and exchange. It gives independent labels the opportunity to present their work, connect with one another and build new relationships with artists, fellow musicians and a curious audience. At the same time, it offers music lovers a first-hand look at the diverse world of independent music production and the people who shape it.

Sonic Matters takes place as part of the silent green Winterfest 2026.
