Sabaa Tahir: All My Rage

Discussion, Reading, Q&A
Until their fight, Salahudin and Noor were best friends. Both wanted to escape their California desert town, where they face xenophobia on a daily basis, as soon as possible. But Salahudin worries about his parents’ health and maintaining the family motel, while Noor must work in her vicious uncle’s liquor store and is secretly applying to college. A powerful novel about the value of friendship, about new love, old regrets, and forgiveness.

The event is in English.
Hosted by Elnathan John.

Text by Sabaa Tahir.
Translation by Claudia Max.

Recommended for grades 9 to 12.

To kick off the event, Aline Hafermaas [winner of the Treffen junger Autor*innen] will read her text Mikroereignisse.
