"Pay Dirt" – Reading with Sara Paretsky
silent green presents
We are thrilled to welcome a true icon of crime fiction to silent green this September: Sara Paretsky, pioneer of the female detective novel and creator of the legendary investigator V.I. Warshawski.
On the evening of September 13, Sara Paretsky will give a live reading from her new novel Pay Dirt, offering insights into the world of her legendary investigator. Once again, Warshawski is sent to the places that hurt the most armed with a moral compass that seeks out pockets of hope in a broken world, or at the very least, the courage to keep looking and to confront rather than deny.
The evening will be moderated by Else Laudan, the translator of the novel.
