Opening night of the group exhibition UnNatural Encounters | Performance by Tatsuru Arai

Group Exhibition UnNatural Encounters

What can artistic perspectives reveal that data and facts cannot? How does art succeed in making this tangible? Can art and technology work together for the development of new forms of communication, empathy, solidarity, and responsibility for our environment? These questions will be the focus of our major group exhibition UnNatural Encounters. In cooperation with the European Media Art Platform (EMAP) and transmediale.

Performance 'Re-solarization' by Tatsuru Arai

The Earth's ecosystem has preserved most of its matter while resisting entropy through self-organization, requiring immense energy. Today, as we face an energy crisis amid rapid technological advances like AI, innovations like nuclear fusion are crucial to sustain ecosystems. Balancing nature's energy with scientific progress is essential. In "Hyper Serial Music (the most complex music in history) and "Trans Ages Music" (1 to 100% density music), the flowers repeatedly diffuse and self-organize with an included AI system, reflecting this dynamic balance.

The performance creates a sensory experience in which sound, light, and visual projections are precisely synchronized to generate a futuristic, meditative atmosphere.
